The Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society is dedicated to excellence in the development and delivery of health care to women. Physician educators, researchers, and practitioners from university and private practice settings collaborate to share the advancing knowledge of the specialty and to develop evidence based diagnostic and treatment guidelines for dissemination to health care providers and their patients. The membership is encouraged to make continuing education in all aspects of women's health care a lifetime professional goal. |

Virtual Meeting
September 2 - September 6, 2020
After careful consideration, the PCOGS Board has decided that the PCOGS Annual Meeting (scheduled for September 2-6, 2020 in Maui, Hawaii), cannot be held as planned. In these difficult and uncertain times, many of our members are performing essential frontline services dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and cannot leave their vital duties. Continued travel and “ stay in place” restrictions, including the 14-day quarantine restrictions throughout Hawaii make it unsafe and very difficult for our members and guests to travel to Maui in September. The safety of our members is paramount. Many of our members are of “at-risk populations” and cannot safely travel. We are also following the guidance of our national professional organizations…The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and others have already canceled national annual and district meetings. The PCOGS Board is cognizant of the professional stresses and financial hardships resulting from this unprecedented crisis. The PCOGS program committee is busy planning online alternatives (live and recorded) for the scheduled presentations. We will keep you apprised.
