PCOGS Author Website Instructions

Thank you for your upcoming presentation to the Society. All abstracts (summaries) and completed articles are now submitted on line through the Society Website. We have tried to make this very user friendly. Fellows of the Society should use the same path listed below for abstract/manuscript submission.

TO SIMPLIFY ACCESS, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU COPY THE ABOVE LINK AND PASTE IT INTO YOUR BROWSER AND AGAIN COPY AND PASTE THE PASSWORD ABOVE FROM THIS DOCUMENT INTO THE APPROPRIATE AREA ON THE WEB SITE.

Once on the site we recommend the following :

  1. 1. Write down or better yet copy to your computer the “Article ID” and the “Personal Key”. You will need these each time you submit, update or mark complete your article for submission.
  2. 2. Initially select the “Submit an Article” box. Thereafter always select the “Update Box”.
  3. 3. You will initially write or paste your abstract in the “Summary” box and then hit the “submit” button at the bottom of the page. You will receive E-mail confirmation of your submission and will be assigned a reviewer by the Program Chairman of the Society.
  4. 4. Once a reviewer has been assigned you will receive an E-mail confirmation and the reviewer’s name.
  5. 5. When the reviewer has submitted his/her review, you will be notified by E-mail. Please return to the Website, use your “Article ID” and “Personal Key” to gain access to the review. At this juncture you may revise the abstract in the “Summary “ box or submit the article itself using the “Choose a File” button and pasting your article to the site. Then hit the “submit” button. You will receive E-mail confirmation of the submission.
  6. 6. The reviewer will automatically be notified of your “Update” and will re-review.
  7. 7. You will receive E-mail confirmation when the re-review is ready for your appraisal. This process will be repeated until you mark the “Article Complete” box which ends the process.

  • 1. Abstract Jan 14 2011 (Description of Project)
  • 2. Abstract May 2 2011 ( Must contain results)
  • 3. Article August 1 2010 (Completed article for review)
  • 4. Manuscript submission to American Journal of Ob-Gyn (if desired) Sept 15 2011. Please see Website for details (www.pcogs.org) . Use “Authors” drop down window.
