PCOGS Author Website Instructions

Thank you for your upcoming presentation to the Society. All abstracts (summaries) and completed articles are submitted online through the Society Website. We have tried to make this very user friendly.

Below is the Website address and access password.

  1. 1. Link into your browser

    A screen will load that asks for the submission password - testpassword
  2. 2. Key in the password - testpassword
  3. 3. To submit your finalized abstract for publication in the printed program, select the “Submit an Article” box.
    This will generate an email to you confirming your file was received.
    The numbers, “article ID” and “personal key”, are REQUIRED to upload your reviewable manuscript.
    After the initial upload of your finalized abstract, always select the “Update an Article” box.
    You will need the “Article ID” and “Personal Key”, assigned when you upload your reviewable manuscript. These “keys” are REQUIRED to upload and update your manuscript.
    When uploading your reviewable manuscript, click on “Update an article”, IF you uploaded your finalized abstract through the web site for the May 1 deadline.
    If you did NOT upload your final abstract for the May 1 deadline, click on “Submit an Article”.

  4. 4. To upload the document, scroll down until you can see the "browse" button to the right of "Article".
    Click on "browse" which will allow access to the folders on your computer
    Double click on your document which will upload it to the web site.
    Click the “submit” button at the bottom of the page to complete submission
    You will receive E-mail confirmation of your submission.
  5. 5. A formal discussant or formal reviewer will be assigned by the Program Chair of the meeting.
  6. 6. Once a reviewer has been assigned you will receive an e-mail confirmation and the reviewer’s name.
  7. 7. When the reviewer has submitted his/her review, you will be notified by e-mail. Please return to the Website, use your “Article ID” and “Personal Key” to gain access to the review. If you wish to edit your manuscript based on the reviewer’s comments, complete the process outlined in Step 4 to upload your edited/revised manuscript. You will be “updating” an article. You will receive E-mail confirmation of the update of the article.
  8. 8. The reviewer will automatically be notified of your “Update” and will re-review.
  9. 9. You will receive e-mail confirmation when the re-review is ready for your appraisal. This process will be repeated until you mark the “Article Complete” box which ends the process.

      • 1. Initial Abstract Jan 15, 2020 (Description of Project)
      • 2. Abstract May 1, 2020 ( Must contain results)
      • 3. Article July 22, 2020 (Completed article for review)
      • 4. Manuscript submission to American Journal of Ob-Gyn or journal of your choice (if desired) October 14, 2020. Please see Website for details (www.pcogs.org) . Use “Authors” drop down window.
